On may 3rd of 2004 i, to my surprise, suffered
a heart attack..i was at work, alone. it started with a pressure in my chest and
a feeling of mortal fear..at first, or was it wishful thinking, i thought i was
having a panic attack..i called my boss and he came in..i waited, like an idiot
for my husband to pick me up and take me to hospital...he got on the wrong road
from a buying trip he was on, so the wait was even longer..i was given a clot
buster in emerg. and felt better..a week later i came home..i was on a roller
coaster of emotions and also a lot of meds...i am still having chest discomfort
so i am scheduled for a dye test at a major heart centre...i am apprehensive and
would like to hear from those who have had this procedure....thanks karen
