My parents both passed away quite suddenly about 5 years ago. It was a known fact that dad had a heart condition and in 97' he did a whole lifestyle change with diet and excercise after having 5 bypasses.
Things were going well, when in the early spring of 03'mom and him were playing frisbie in the park, when he suddenly collapsed. Paramedics arrived within 3 minutes, to no avail.

Needless to say my mom was completely distraught, broken hearted and devastated. They were the couple that everyone wanted to be. So in love it was almost embarrassing when I was younger. (which I now miss seeing terribly) Mom then started to show signs/symptoms of a heart condition. Her mother had heart problems, but mom had NEVER had signs, symptoms or treatment until now.
She was hospitalized for anxiety/panic attacks. She kept telling them she thought something was very wrong, and that she thought it was HER heart. The medical professionals sited that she was a "grieving widow" and that she only had a viral infection of the pericardium; treated her with fluids, and Ibuprofin, and a heart med. Three months later she suddenly died at home. Autopsy said she had the viral infections which increased the size by almost three times.
A lawsuit was brought against the hospital for possible incompetency. The lawyers came to the conclusion that no wrong doing occured.

Anyway, just wondering if it was possible she was suffering from Dysautonomia. (??)
