Not sure where to start but here goes. Have been off work for about 6 years with a serious back problem and the only relief i have found for that is to walk at least 4 to 8 miles every day and that is hard walking.6 months ago i started getting chest pains in the middle of the night and some pains in my arms and these where accompanied by a lot of deep wind which relieved the pain. So i went to see my gp and because i had 3 high risk factors ie.family history, smoker, high blood pressure she sent me to hospital thinking it was only indigestion and the A&E thought the same but the blood test came back saying i had a heart attack.Within two weeks i had an inhouse tread mill and then sent off for an angiogram and then kept in there so they could perform angioplasty and inserted 6 stents inside me, and i didn't feel any different from the day i went in until a few weeks ago when i started getting chest pains again when i push hard up hill when i am walking. And this is some one who walked the inca trail 4 years ago and climbed snowden last year. All i can say to help anyone is to exercise and don't smoke as the exercise saved my life as my heart could cope without much oxygen even though i did smoke at the time. I think i will need more surgery but until i go back for tests next week i am only guessing.
