HARTLEY TAIT
From the age of around 17 i noticed that things
were a little different with me that to my class mates , i slept more and had a
hard time getting my breath back after walking ect, but this didn't faze me i
still went on with my every day life still partying and dancing with everyone
else but had a longer time recovering then my mates. I left school and went to
collage and started passing out and that is when i was diagnosed with
neurocardiogenic syncopy i was so pissed of with that news i remember
thinking stuff this i'm not going to let this stop me so i kept on with life as
usual at a full on pace to prove that i was almost invincible but 5 years later
after countless hospital visits and 100s of black outs my luck ran out i had
massive av block and was going to die if i didn't do some thing about it so i
got a pacemaker. i was still pissed of with my body but still got up the next
day and felt so alive , not tired for the first time. i love my pace maker and
love my new life i cant be happier to be turning 28 next month and starting a
new degree also life is great you just have to pick your self up again and again
and realize its the falls that make us stronger and wiser, thank you for letting
me share my story cheers and good luck to you all.
