After working for 2 groups of M.D.'s for 12 years I finally gave in to a nuclear stress test that one of the Doctor's had been coaxing me to get because of heart history in my family. My stress test showed something not right, further angioplasty resulted in a stented 50% blocked artery followed by a 50% and 30% blocked artery, which were not stented. I am 57.

I wish I would have gone sooner, as the Doctor suggested. This revelation made me rethink the stressfulness that had been a big part of my 12 yr job that possibly would be about to end. After a couple of weeks of thinking about it, I retired.

I hope I can live my life and have some fun. The stress is definitely off me. I have been retired now for 2 months and I my only regret is that I should have done it a couple of years ago.

We women don't think heart is so widespread for us, but think again. Get a stress test to ease your mind.
