I am a 70 year old woman who has been extremely healthy all my life. I do not smoke. I eat well. I exercise regularly. I am not overweight; nor do I have high blood pressure. My cholesterol is somewhat elevated. Two years ago I experienced chest discomfort (not quite pains) that lasted 2 to 8 hours. I went to my MD who sent me to a heart specialist. The specialist gave me a sress test which I flunked in the "cooling off" stage (the most important, I understand). He immediately ordered a heart cath where they would put in stent or do what they felt they had to while I was undergoing it. When I got home and told my husband, he said, "No way. You are going to get chelation." I went through 20 chelation treatments in a period of 10 weeks. When I went back to my family doctor and told him, he nearly kicked me out of his office. I went to another heart specialist and had another stress test, which I passed. Two years later, and I have had no chest pains.
