Regarding the study that demonstrated the benefits of adopting five healthy lifestyle choices, I would like to endorse the alcohol stance of only 1-2 standard drinks daily with perhaps total abstinence one day a week.
My ancestors of the Christian religion could perhaps be forgiven in misquoting the bible. Nowhere is alcohol condemned in the writings. No, it is drunkeness that is condemned. Remember that Jesus himself at a wedding ceremony in Caanan, converted water into premium wine when the drinks had run out.

Great article. I’m struggling with making life changes to lower my blood pressure. I’ve noticed that certain foods I eat make it worse. It also goes down after I exercise. A home blood pressure monitor allows me to track my pressure on a daily basis.

I will certainly make more of an effort to make positive changes. However, it’s easier said than done!
