Last year I had a severe heart attack, which left me with 40% function, and thought I’d carry on running and completed 2 21km/half marathons in a couple of months, only to be told by my Cardiologist that I had lost a further 5% which brought my heart rate function down to 35%. So I was told to stop the running, and rather walk and some golf. Now I am getting chest pains and wonder if I’m heading for the final curtain call???!!!!
