For those of you pondering New Years Resolutions, here's a study showing that people who adopt five simple lifestyle choices can reduce their risk of cardiac disease by an astounding degree. Furthermore, at least one of these lifestyle choices is counted by many as a forbidden pleasure, and large and powerful organizations exist to keep you from doing it. You need read about this. Regarding the study that demonstrated the benefits of adopting five healthy lifestyle choices, I would like to endorse the alcohol stance of only 1-2 standard drinks daily with perhaps total abstinence one day a week.
My ancestors of the Christian religion could perhaps be forgiven in misquoting the bible. Nowhere is alcohol condemned in the writings. No, it is drunkeness that is condemned. Remember that Jesus himself at a wedding ceremony in Caanan, converted water into premium wine when the drinks had run out.
