Cranberry Juice Raises HDL

I know you mentioned “cranberry juice is harmless” and that we should drink the low-calorie type–but is cranberry juice a good beverage for diabetics?

Doesn’t cranberry juice act on the blood the same way as Coumadin does and increase the blood test readings? A patient who is currently stabilized on Coumadin might upset that stability by introducing a daily cupfull of cranberry juice to his diet.
