Heart Attack Outcomes Are Improving

A new study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association shows that over the past few years, doctors around the world have significantly improved in applying treatment guidelines for patients with heart attacks. And as a result, patients with heart attacks have significantly improved their odds of surviving and maintaining reasonable levels of health. However, while, on average, patients are doing better, many individual patients still are not getting the treatment they need.
