LDL Cholesterol - The Lower the Better?

Results were reported this week from the PROVE-IT trial, showing that patients whose LDL levels were made ultra-low with Lipitor did significantly better than patients whose LDL levels were made merely low with Pravachol. These results surprised many, including the sponsors of the study - the makers of Pravachol. Read about it here.
